manna is always and has always been involved in participating in charitable work that benefits Wilmington and our community. Through the years it is safe to say that we have made tens of thousands of dollars in “in kind” donations to multiple charity fundraisers, auctions and other worthy events. Because of our involvement, we receive scores of requests for donations every month and we cannot afford to give to every function or event.
Our focus is generally smaller organizations with specific needs for funding that our assistance instantly impacts. We like to emphasize our help with children, hunger and other food related charities. It is imperative that the money raised from these events stay in this community—
this is not negotiable.
Please complete this form so that we can get the information to our management team who consider all requests based primarily on the cause, the outreach and message of the charity, other participating businesses involved in contributing and the available funding which is based directly on sales from our previous quarter. From this we have a formula that allocates a budget to accommodate fundraisers in the future.
*Unfortunately, we cannot contribute to any school fundraiser as there are more than 50 schools in the area and it would be unfair to say “yes” to one and “no” to another and we cannot afford to support every school in the community.
