Wednesday is “Wines”Day at the manna Bar

We’ve decided to have a little fun to celebrate the middle of the week:

We will focus some of our attention to the wine world and present some unique ideas for your wine consumption with regard to price, accolades & interesting varietals.

To kick things off, Michael has selected four wines all rated 90 points and all under $20/bottle. Here are this week’s wines:

  • Tabali Sauvignon Blanc, Chile Fragrant bouquet of mineral, passion fruit and citrus. This leads to a mouth-watering,vibrant, lengthy white that WAY over delivers for its humbleprice.
  • Colome Torrontes, Argentina Lush and ripe with lovely peach, tropical fruits and aromatics; rich and tangy with balance anddepth; long and charming.
  • Anciano “10 Year Gran Reserva” Tempranillo, Spain Theproduct of a good vintage and extended aging in barrel andbottle. Asian spices, incense, cigar box, lavender, red licoriceand black cherry leads to a silky textured wine with savoryflavors, excellent balance without the edge.
  • Finca el Origen Malbec, Argentina From an altitude of 4,000ft. this vineyard has produced a Malbec with envelopingdepths of flavor, generous ripeness and a lasting sense offreshness. It’s structure is tense, built to accompany seared sirloin.

For the price of one glass, you will have the opportunity to sample each of the wines and select your favorite. The bottles will be on “sale” tonight only, so take advantage of the savings and the value.

hope you can make it; first come first serve.
